FINDING A PROPERTY TO PURCHASE
We thought we could find our next home. We did not think it would be easy but certainly doable. Prepared with our online pre-qualification form, we shopped. Zillow alerts were equally as important as the kid’s bedroom monitors. We both have busy career paths, parents of littles and did not understand that this would be another full time (24hours a day) job.
Socially we know a few Real Estate agents. We met LL at our dream home, one we cannot afford today. We almost did not call her, thinking she only works with people that have more to spend. We called and LL schooled us.
We learned the difference between identifying a property to purchase and buying our next home. LL lesson #1. The team of professionals that work together, so many! I know these people by their first name now. Brent the lender, Jason at the Title Company, Steve the inspector, Steve the handyman, Mark the contractor, Joe the a/c guy and Cassandra the boss.
Talking us off the ledge, giving us the tools and the confidence to get our home, we can honestly say we would not have found our HOME without this Village of Humans that worked for us.
